Just remember that if you are not in this journey for you...then you are not doing it for the right reasons!!! You have to put yourself first.
Most people know that I'm doing it, but there are quite a few people who haven't seen me in a while that will have forgotten that I'm dieting and will be suprised when they see me next. I still tend to hide behind big tshirts because it's comfortable but come xmas time I'll be in tight tops again and that will probably blow a few minds. I think everyone in my family expected me to stay large after having my bub, but being a lower weight was too fresh in my memory and I didn't want to give that feeling up!In a way I think it's good if people don't know. That way they aren't saying "Oh you look like you've lost heaps" just to cheer you up. I prefer people to notice because I actually HAVE lost heaps rather than because they want to encourage me lol. And you don't have the people saying that just one drink won't hurt, or that you can have a couple of chips SURELY. Sometimes they realise they're doing it, sometimes they don't. Either way, it's easier to avoid the situation in the first place.
yeah its true if people sabotage you they arnt good friends...
but it happens all the time so i guess it just makes sense not to tell anyone...
im definatly doing this for me... plus since this is the second time around i know deep down my boyfriend n mum think that i cant stick to it..so its a bit more of a push so i can suprise them by actually sticking to it!. even tho they are very supportive
but sometimes i just want to drink my TF shake without hiding it but i dont want people to ask about what am i drinkin either
Beth just say that it is a protein shake. I forgot to mention that people at work know I'm doing it. Only so they know not to offer me crap food. My consultant said just to say - that it is a protein shake(which it is) and that if they question you further, you can say that you can't stomach breakfast so have the shake instead and then at lunch if you don't have the soup and have the shakes just say that your Personal trainer said that you have to have 2 a day while training or something like that.
