Any horror stories?(2)

  • Needless to say, we're not really friends any longer and my SO doesn't care about my weight whatsoever, besides the health risks. But yeah...that one kinda stuck with me.
Once, while visiting my parents, I picked up a cream roll and was about to take a bite out of it when my dad leaned over and said, "Are you sure you need to eat that?" I was so mortified.

Also, in college (when I was at my lowest weight of 135) I had an ex boyfriend who would look at porn. I asked why he looked at it when he had a girlfriend, and he said, 'All of these girls have smokin' hot bods." Unfortunately, I didn't get that he contributed to a lot of my self esteem issues until years later. Don't let jerks walk all over you!

You should answer him, "Are you sure you should have said that?"

I never think of these things until too late.
Ugh I have had sooo many but one that sticks out I was pumping gas on my way to work and this car full of people drive by and screwm FAT @ss!!

I mean talk about a drive by :( Why must people be so rude.

And about the pp and kids eww my best friend was horrible about that she was as big (if not bigger) than me and her kids would say really rude fat type things to me and shed just let them. And theyd say their mom wasnt fat but I sure was. I think it made her feel good or something and she let them do it.
I took my kids to ride the horses at a nearby park and there was a parent there that did notice I was at a hearing distant well he turned and told his daughter "See, thats why you cant eat that much you're going to end up looking like that" and then he noticed that I was staring at him with my evil eyes but the damage was already done...i felt humiliated and just wanted to go home I felt bad for my children since there the ones that had to leave with me and didnt have a good time because of that. :(
One that still sticks with me after so many years...

My best friend (!) when I just started highschool (around 13 y/o) wrote me a letter and gave it to me when I arrived at school. It basically said that she would rather not hang around me anymore because if she hung around "people like me" she would never get a boyfriend. I was fat, didn't "dress right" and was "too nice".

I wasn't even particularly overweight during that time, a little round around the edges but a pretty healthy girl. Just a bit shy, I guess.

Sometimes that one still hurts, but I now have a very lovely, kind and smart boyfriend so she was obviously wrong. Girls can be so mean to each other!
Kids that I babysit for have two very skinny, good looking parents; I see pictures of their grandma around the house, and the kids will say at very random times when i'm bending down or something, how i'm "so much more bigger than Grandma; how do you get around?"
